He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene C. Parson and Myrl Marie Parson (McNeely); and his brother Loren O. "Sonny" Parson. He is survived by: his wife Betty Lou Parson (Bucher) of New Philadelphia; his children, Darrell Parson (Sue), Pastor Dan Parson (Wendy) and Brenda Shroyer (Dale); his grandchildren, Eric Parson (Angel), Joshua Parson (Katelyn), Stacy Peterson (Troy), Tara Parson, Derek Parson (Aubree) and Kaila Shroyer; his sisters, Joanne Kendle (Don) and Leah Fern Puffinberger; and his sister-in-law Karen Parson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
