Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Emery Dee Brumit of New Philadelphia, Ohio, born in McLeansboro, Illinois, who passed away at the age of 81, on September 7, 2020. He was predeceased by: his parents, Isaac Brumit and Flora Brumit (Dooley); his sister Loretta Thomas (Floyd); and his parents-in-law, Harold and Marian Adams.

He is survived by: his wife Peggy; his children, Mark Brumit (Brenda) of Stone Creek and Brenda Tharp (Ray) of Dover; his grandchildren, Kyle Tharp (Tifney) of Stone Creek, Cody Tharp (Kayla) of Dover, Hannah Kostelnik (Tristan) of Marietta and Morgan Bretz (Andrew) of Westerville; his great grandchildren, Reed, Taylor Tharp, Josie, Crew Tharp and Brenna Kostelnik; his sisters, Ruth Foust (Bill) of Texas, Maggie Crew (John) of Tennesee and Mary Browning (Fred) of Missouri; his niece Tammi Hogle of Millersburg; and his great-niece Markilynn Hogle of Akron. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, social distancing will be practiced and masks are a state mandate.
