He was predeceased by: his parents, William Stein and Matilda Stein (Regula); his spouse Thresea Holskey; his brothers, Welton Stein and Russell Stein; and his great grandchild Nathan Stein.
He is survived by: his children, Ronald Stein (Miriam), Stephan Stein (Carla) and Susan Mast (Randy); his grandchildren, Sascha Durben (Chad), Kara Coooper (Mark), Hannah Addy (Cody), Andy Stein (Nicole), Brandon Stein (Tammi McMath), Heather Mast, Heath Mast (Katie) and Amanda Feikert (Michael); and his brother Dale Stein (Raimilene). He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
