She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry T. Patterson and Ella L. Patterson (Waddington); her husband William Hicks Jr.; her daughter Deborah Ann Hicks; her son-in-law Donald Herriott; and her siblings, Katherine Graves, James, Henry and John Patterson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Susan Herriott of Sarasota, Florida, Marcia Stuart (Lloyd) of New Philadelphia and Lauren Shelley (Scott) of Easton, Connecticut; and her grandchildren, Elizabeth Bell (Daryl), Scott Herriott, Ethan Stuart, Nola and Evan Shelley. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
The family requests that donations may be made in her memory to Lifecare Hospice-Truman House at 716 Commercial Ave SW.
