It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edith Viola Bair of New Philadelphia, Ohio, born in Uhrichsville, Ohio, who passed away on February 1, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Meldrum and Jessie Meldrum (Akers); her spouse Dale E. Bair; her children, Elaine Johnson (William) of New Philadelphia, Ann Hootman (Jim) of New Philadelphia, Larry Bair and Ron Bair; her siblings, Phyllis Meldrum, Willowdean Everett, Shelby Snyder and Ray Meldrum; and her granddaughter Erica Bair.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Tim Johnson (Keena), Andrew Johnson, Katie Page (Tim), Zack Terakedis (Breanne), Krista Handel (Tom), Jeff Bair (Shondell), Brian Bair, Kevin Bair (Heather), Kyle Bair and Martin Bair; her great grandchildren, Jamie Kline (Ken), Julie, Justin Johnson, Matilyn, Brookelynn Page, Zoe, James, Alexandra Terakedis, Anneliese, Maren, Audrey, Chase Handel, Donovan Tristano, Devon, Alana Bair, Dominic Bair, Drake, Meadow Neilson, Ali Bair, Tristan, Elise Barnhart, Seth and Caleb Bair; and her great great grandchildren, Sage and Lily Kline.
