He was predeceased by: his parents, Alva Edgar Greenwood, Sr. and Chestina Elizabeth Greenwood (Lawver); his wife Delores Greenwood (McBeth); his son Russell A. Greenwood; and his brothers, Alva E. Jr., Frank B., Jackie Lee and Dale Richard Greenwood.
He is survived by: his son Jeffrey E. (Tamara); his siblings, Eleanor Malterer, Mary Lou Shaw, Melva Jane Beckley (Austin), Winifred Gibbens, Linda Kay Froman, Donald E. Greenwood (Shirley), Larry A. Greenwood (Margie) and Lewis G. "Butch" Greenwood; and his former wife Joyce Chaney. He is also survived by 5 stepchildren; 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
