It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Duane Ferris of New Philadelphia, Ohio, born in Dover, Ohio, who passed away on January 14, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William E. Ferris and Melva Ferris (Ludi); his former wife Wanda J. Sherrets; his daughter Diane Ferris-Deliz; his siblings, Jim Ferris and Betty Ferris Brown; and his wife Donna Mohn Ferris.
He is survived by: his sons, Tom Ferris (Vernita) of New Philadelphia, William "Bill" Ferris (Donna) of New Philadelphia and Richard Ferris of Naples, Florida; his grandchildren, Pat Ferris (Jessie) of New Philadelphia, Ryan Ferris of Dover, Matt Ferris (Lisa) of Dover, Mitch Ferris (Andrea) of New Jersey and Elizabeth Ferris of Coshocton; and his great grandchildren, Brody Ferris, Kailey Bevins, Riley Ferris, Megan Ferris, Jane Ferris, Sean Ferris, Hope Ferris and Vivien Ferris. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
