It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Hykes Denning (New Philadelphia, Ohio), who passed away on April 15, 2020, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore E. VanLehn and Almeda Shaw VanLehn; her former husband Orren Hykes; her husband Robert Denning; her brother Robert; her sister-in-law Goldie VanLehn; and her half-brother Russell VanLehn.
She is survived by: her children, Terry Hykes (Pamela) of New Philadelphia and Sandra Yannone of Phoenix, Arizona; her grandchildren, Heather Norris (Brian), Jennifer Kornblum (Seth), Lisa Meade (Mike), Nicholas Yannone and Alisha Cabatic (Claron); and her great grandchildren, Nathaniel Norris, Andrew Norris, Adam Kornblum, David Kornblum and Mia Cabatic.
Due to the Covid-19 virus, private services will be held with burial taking place in Evergreen Burial Park at New Philadelphia.
