It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris L. Schreffler of New Philadelphia, Ohio, who passed away on October 15, 2020, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Alexander and Bessie Mahaffey Alexander; her husband Dennis B. Schreffler; her siblings, Laverne Hare, Anna Gunter and William Alexander; her foster parents, Cecil Joy and Vilotta Joy; and her half-brothers, Dave and James Love.
She is survived by: her daughters, Carol Schreffler of New Philadelphia and Denise Autrey (Justin) of New Philadelphia; her grandchildren, Kea, Karizma, Braxton, Tysha (Jeffrey), Beyonce', Ajia and Izaik; her great grandchildren, Blake, Abel and Luke; her sisters, Opal Milarcik of Tippecanoe and Freda Raber (Roman) of New Philadelphia; her foster brother Harold "Butch" Baker of New Philadelphia; and her sisters-in-law, Jane Kelley (Joe) of New Philadelphia and Carol Rabel of Navarre. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
