With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Donald L Scott Sr. of New Philadelphia, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 24, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Scott and Helen Scott (Beamer); his wife Sandra Scott (Martin); and his siblings, Virginia Willison, Carolyn Jordan, Earl and Ralph Scott.
He is survived by: his children, Amy Kimble (Christopher) of New Philadelphia, Donald Scott Jr. (Diane Noah) of Bolivar and Gregory Scott (Arlene) of New Philadelphia; and his sisters, Anna Yacklin of Minerva, Kathy Metheny (Quentin) of Kingswood, WV and Darlene Dotson of Manassas, VA. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home, Inc. (206 E Lincolnway, Minerva, OH 44657). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
