He is survived by: his wife Robin Smitley (Ebert); his sons, Daniel Smitley Jr. (Holly), Phillip Smitley (Deanna) and Robert Smitley; his grandchildren, Joshua (Hannah Lynn), Ashley, LeeAnn and Katie; his siblings, Neva Marsh, Shirley Richards and Clarence Smitley; his stepgrandson McEnzie Azzardi; and also, Timmy, Terry, Taylor and Cosmo.
