He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Berentz and Lucille Berentz (Morrison). He is survived by: his close friend Donna L. Vierheller; his wife Donna; his children, Diana "Dee" Keen (Jim) of New Philadelphia, Renee Stone (Dave) of Coshocton and Gayle Ross (Michael) of New Philadelphia; his grandchildren, Joshua Woodring, Krista Thomas (Ryan), Ginelle Hayhurst (Rodney), Zach Ross (Emily), Luke Ross (Karly), Sam and Ellie Ross; his great grandchildren, Ryley Woodring, Adair, Avery, Zoe, Chloe, Joey, Gracyn, Noah Ross and Mila Ross; his pet Missy; his brother Dave Berentz (Theresa); and his nephew Steve Berentz.
