She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Totten and Mary Totten; her daughter Heather Dudley; and her sisters, Sharon Merrell and Betty Hoffman.
She is survived by: her former husband Brad Bower of New Philadelphia; her daughters, Amanda Simon of Brooklyn and Melissa Harris (Christopher) of New Philadelphia; her grandchildren, Zach Harris (Amanda), Kylie Harris, Dirk Thomas, Desiree Thomas and Donna Young; and her great grandchild Lorenzo Rainsburg. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
