He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow and Amanda Maynard (Mullins); his wife Georgia Ann Maynard (Burch); his daughter Robin Hess; his brother Billy Maynard; and his stepmother Muriel Maynard.
He is survived by: his children, Vandra Dorler of New Philadelphia and Stewart Maynard (Judy) of Michigan; his grandchildren, Rena Maynard-Cagle (Chris), Amanda Hess (Joe), Adam Hess and Eddie Hess; his great grandchildren, Carlos and Devon Maynard; and his sister Betty Frealey (Irvine).
