He was predeceased by: his parents, Coni Spitale and Mary Spitale (Repace). He is survived by: his children, Tony Spitale of Massillon, Jeanette Brown (Steve) of Magnolia, Andrea Balizet (Robbie) of Massillon and Kathy Spitale of Massillon; his grandchildren, Jacob (Lizzie), Kailee, Emily, Alexis, Aubrey, Karly, Mallory and Nathan; his great grandchild Garrett; and his siblings, Judy Esway Cugino (Gary Cugino), Margaret Chaney, Mary Swain and Mike Spitale.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Community Hospice of Tuscarawas County.
