She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl E. Lahmers and Alverda Lengler Lahmers; her husband Lloyd E. Swinderman; her son Thomas Swinderman; her daughter-in-law Cheryl Swinderman; and her brothers, Ralph, Elden and Ted Lahmers.

She is survived by: her son Richard Swinderman of New Philadelphia; and her grandsons, Ryan Swinderman (Lori) of Pennsylvania, Kyle Swinderman (Terra) of Florida, Adam Swinderman (Ellie) of Northfield and Rev. Cory Swinderman (Rachel) of Illinois. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
