He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Zack and Alice Coughnor Zack; his close friends, Raymond Mack and Randall Mack; and his nephew Terrance Zack.
He is survived by: his fiancée Barbara Reinard of New Philadelphia; his children, Marlena Gerhard (Dave) of Somerset, Pennsylvania and Austin Zack of Somerset, Pennsylvania; his fiancée's children, Realynne Mack, John Reinard and Nathaniel Reinard; his grandchildren, Zurie Gerhard, Alicia, Delilah Sharp, Giovanna and Felix Webb; and his siblings, Lorie Kimmel (Dennis), Kenneth Zack (Nellie), Richard Zack, Terry Zack, Lisa Kramer and Brenda Zack.
