He is survived by: his stepdaughters, Tina Blankenship (Amos Mullet) of Strasburg, Tracey Weaver (Mike) of Dover and Stacey Howell (David J. Avon) of Tuscarawas; his grandchildren, Chelsie Cuenot (Tom), Chantel Blankenship, William Frank Devore III (Philicia), Brittany Devore (Blake Cole) and Douglas James Weaver; his great grandchildren, Adeline, Amelia Gribble, Declan Miles, Ellina and Zaven Cole; and his siblings, John Shott, Salley Wherley (Jim) and Debra Lesjak (Ron). He is also survived by family members include Abe's wife of thirty years, whom he married.
