She was predeceased by: her parents, Renfro Ross and Thelma Ross; her son Richard Michael Douglas; her sons-in-law, Michael D. Carpenter and David W. Messick; and her sister Dolores Orto.
She is survived by: her husband Ralph Douglas of New Paris; her daughters, Michelle Carpenter of Elk Rapids, MI, Cynthia Messick of New Paris, OH and Nicole Porter (Mark) of New Paris, OH; her daughter-in-law Susan Douglas of Huber Heights, OH; her grandchildren, Nicholas Carpenter (Katie Wibby), Taylor Carpenter, April Douglas, Steven Douglas (Diana), Matthew Messick, Michelle Eyler (Michael), Mackenzie Messick, Tyler Porter, Evan Porter and Ella Porter; and her great grandchildren, Selena Douglas and Isabella Wibby.
