He was predeceased by: his father Gene E. McNew. He is survived by: his mother F. Delores McNew (Ponder) of Richmond; his pet Jaxson; his wife Diane McNew (Sullenbarger); his children, Jessica Ridout (Kelly) of New Paris and Matt McNew (Kat) of New Paris; his grandchildren, Hunter, Owen, Brant, Cash Ridout, Emmett and Melody "Edie" McNew; his siblings, Gene McNew, Jr. (Kelly) of Connersville, Brian McNew of Richmond and Melissa Gross (Jim) of Hollansburg, Ohio; his stepmother Linda McNew of New Paris; his friend Vicki Battista of Richmond; his parents-in-law, Jack and Regina "Jean" Sullenbarger of New Madison; and his brother David Sullenbarger (Melissa) of Arcanum. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.
