He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Melling and Jewell Henne (Cole); his son Wesley Melling; and his sister Sherry Locker-Wells. He is survived by: his wife Elke Melling of New Paris, OH; his children, Brigitte Bussen (Todd) of Fortville, IN, Aaron Melling (Gina) of Eaton, OH and Dexter Melling (Christal Niswonger) of New Paris, OH; his grandchildren, Autumn, Kelsey, Brandon, Robert, Blake, Tatumn and Breanna; and his sister Brenda Estes. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
