He was predeceased by: his mother Judith Abbitt (Degenhart); his brother Ronald Joseph "Joey" Abbitt; and his father Ronald Lewis Abbitt. He is survived by: his former wife Lorena Scott (Delk); his son Joshua Scott; his stepmother Nancy Abbitt; his siblings, Michael "Tom" Abbitt (Dee), Sherry Mickley (Duane) and Julie Grady (Scott); and his stepsisters, Angie Fenner (Troy) and Martina "Marty" Bellamy. He is also survived by Numerous Nieces, Nephews, Cousins.
