He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence W. Young and Pina R. Young (Hundley); his brothers, Carl William Young and Merville Aaron Young; and his stepson Lloyd Defibaugh.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy E. Young (Rhoades); his children, Craig Young of West Covina, Michael Young of Phelan, LaNice Young of Columbus and Alex Young of Dearborn, Michigan; and his stepchildren, Mickie Brim (Duane) of Winchester, Marjorie Defibaugh of Indianapolis and Connie Miller of Richmond, Indiana. He is also survived by his 9 step grandchildren; his 20 step great grandchildren; and his 10 step great-great grandchildren.
