It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathryn Dovie Durbin Johnson of New Paris, Ohio, who passed away on April 12, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Durbin and Viola Plowman Durbin; her husband Neal; her siblings, Lula Johnson, Ernest, Manuel and George Durbin; and her sons-in-law, Julius Horn and Darrell Whalen.
She is survived by: her children, Carolyn Horn of Richmond, Brenda Gingry of New Paris, Floyd Johnson (Linda) of Huber Heights, Vickie Johnson of New Paris and Pamela Whalen of Cambridge City; and her brothers, Charles Durbin and Arnold Mays Jr.. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and 15 great-great-grandchildren.
