She was predeceased by: her parent Martin Cashman; her husband Richard Eley (Dick); and her siblings, Ralph Cashman, William Cashman and Mary Bess Houser.
She is survived by: her parent Ida Cashman (McGreevey); her daughters-in-law, Robert Eley (Bob), Marian Eley of New Paris, Doug Eley and Jane Eley of El Paso; and her great grandchildren, Evan Eley and Dorian Eley. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, Joan's family suggests donations be made to the New Madison United Methodist Church, 149 N. Main Street , New Madison, Ohio 45346, or American Legion Post #245, 242 Fayette Street, New Madison, Ohio 45346.
