He was predeceased by: his parents, James L. Good and Alice M. Good (Hall); his brother James L. Good, Jr.; his brother-in-law Larry Shook; and his grandchildren, Jenna Leigh Hayden and Sydney Skylar McDaniel.

He is survived by: his wife Rosemary Good (Henn); his children, Amy S (Good), Steve Smith, Emily B (Good), Candi S (McDaniel) and Mike Whitehead; his sister Maurine Shook; his grandchildren, Suzanne Eliton (Chris), James Dobbs (Angela), Nicole Kimmel (Daniel Bailey), Christopher Kimmel (Hannah Russell), Samantha Lee (Mike Berry), Jacob Lee, Johnny Hayden (Victoria Green) and Bailey Noble; and his great grandchildren, Hannah Feaster, Talia Eliton, Christopher Eliton, Mailynn Dobbs, Landen Feaster, Amelia Washam, Emmitt Dobbs, Madden Hayden and Joslynn Bailey. He is also survived by Nieces and Nephews.
