He was predeceased by: his parent Martin Luther; and his half-siblings, Martin Evan Clifford, Goldie Jackson Florence and Mildred Francis Slade. He is survived by: his parent Grace May Clifford (Blades); his children, Howard Clifford of Columbia City, Mary Jane Clifford of Columbia City, Carolyn Clifford Hindbaugh of Columbia City and Daniel Clifford (Connie Hawkins) of South Whitley; his grandsons, Colin Clifford (Kelly), Phyneus James Scott (Francine Melia), Scott A. Hindbaugh and Clifford Reece Hawkins; his great grandchildren, Howard Michael Clifford and Phoebe Regan Clifford; and his sister Ollie Calvin.
