He is survived by: his wife Patty Weist (Elliott); his daughters, Cynthia (Lance Vitatoe) and Angie (Brian Rhodus); his brother Gail; his sister-in-law Clemmie Weist of Middletown, Ohio; his sister Carol; his siblings-in-law, Charles Mitchell, Jr. of Eaton, Ohio, Joan Weist of Richmond and Cathy Weist of New Madison, Ohio; his grandchildren, Chris, James Byrd, Joni, Ramon Rutan, Tyler, Whitney Rhodus, Tanner Rhodus and Tessa Rhodus; and his great grandchildren, JaLynn, Wyatt Murphey, Evan Byrd, Micaiah Byrd, Avery Rutan, Zachery Rutan, Scarlett Rutan, Christian Rutan, Gunner Howard Rhodus and Barrett Rhodus. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
