He was predeceased by: his father Houston Lamb; his daughter Melissa Lamb; and his siblings, Danny Ray Gabbard and Bonnie Faye Lamb. He is survived by: his mother Martha Hurley of Berea, Kentucky; his daughter Amanda L. Perez (Israel) of Whitestown, Indiana; his grandchildren, Daniel Perez of Whitestown and Christian Perez of Whitestown; and his siblings, Jeffrey W. Lamb (Lisa) of North Carolina, Vivian Cheryl Bowman (Anthony) of Berea, Doris June Linville of Berea and Rhonda Gail Lamb of Tennessee. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
