With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Francis Edward Wilt Jr. of New Paris, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 12, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Francis Edward may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Edward and Mildred C. Wilt, Sr. (Cottingham); his wife Patsy J. Wilt (Neanover); his son David Lee Bane; and his sisters, Peggy Crowe and Nancy Jane Wilt.
He is survived by: his sons, Phillip Edward Wilt, Jerome L. Wilt and Jerry W. Myers. He is also survived by grandchildren, nephews, niece, and cousins.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sugar Grove Cemetery (1991 OH-503, West Alexandria, OH 45381).
