He is survived by: his wife Dixie Shaffer of New Paris; his daughter Renee Rose (Mike) of Liberty Twp; his grandchildren, Randon Rose (Esther Kang) of Baltimore, MD and Samantha Rose of Liberty Twp; his great grandchild Asher Joon Kang-Rose of Baltimore, MD; and his siblings, Loren Shaffer (Joan) of New Paris, Leland Shaffer (Helen) of Loretta, TN, John Junior Shaffer (Leeanne) of New Paris, Allen Shaffer of New Paris and Wanda Smith (Bob) of New Paris.
