The memory of John Curea Sr. (New Middletown, Ohio), who passed away on December 25, 2024 at the age of 97, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Juan Curea and Anna Curea (Oltean); his wife Patricia R. Ekionak; his son-in-law Mark Collins; and his sister Elizabeth "Veta" Nicoara.
He is survived by: his children, Shirley A. Collins of Coral Springs, FL and John Curea, Jr. (Cathy) of Enon Valley, PA; his grandchildren, Marlon Pineda (Faye), Jason Curea (Mohnka Abramchuk), Candace Higbee (John), Christa Cyr (Justin) and Sarah Nottke (Austin); and his great grandchildren, Jionni, Myla, Declan and Sienna Rose.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Davis-Becker Funeral Home (8536 Market St, Boardman, OH 44512). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
