She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Philpot and Violet Philpot (Current); and her siblings, Clarence Philpot and Iris Delucia. She is survived by: her spouse Terry Elam; her sons, Gregory Elam (Patricia) and Michael Elam; her siblings, Carol Newton, Walter Philpot (Lana), John Philpot (Judy), Irma Smith (Randy), Cindy Roof and Thomas Philpot (Debbie); her grandchildren, Chad Elam (Trinity), Shawn Elam (Frances), Dillon Elam, Jenna Gordon (Mathew), Jessica Elam and Jimmy Elam; and her great grandchildren, Paris, Austin, Cole, Brycen, Delaney, Sophia and Scarlett Elam.
