She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Carder and Cecile Claire Musgrave Carder; her husband Byron G. Walters; her sister Dr. Phyllis Baker; and her great grandchild Eli Benjamin Bonnette.

She is survived by: her children, Tara Bonnette (David), Tracey Wright (Ronald) and John Walters (Tara); her grandchildren, Benjamin Bonnette (Katie), James Bonnette (Gracy), Katie Wilson (John), Heather Walters, Amber Houck (Sean), Mitchell Wright (Breanna) and Dustin Wright (Kaylee); her great grandchildren, Lucas, Stephen Bonnette, Averi, Sean, Brennen, Evelyn Houck, Scarlett Grace Bonnette, John David, Winnie Kate, Ty Wilson, Baylee and Canaan Wright; and her friend Brenda Moore. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Ingram Funeral Home (512 2nd St, St Marys, WV 26170). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at the East Lawn Memorial Park (27880 OH-7, Marietta, OH 45750).
