It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Eugene Baumgard of New Matamoras, Ohio, born in Marietta, Ohio, who passed away on June 30, 2024, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Baumgard and Twila Robertson Baumgard; his brother Tim; his brothers-in-law, Dave and Tim Cline; his nephew Heath Greenwood; and his great-nephew Jaxon Baumgard.
He is survived by: his wife Valerie Cline Baumgard; his daughters, Jessica Bellville (Doug), Amanda Warner (Joe), Christie "Butt" Baumgard and Lynsey Decker; his grandchildren, Seth, Cam (Madison), Blake, Max, Remi, Landon and Leah; and his siblings, Debra Alverman, Jeff (Tania), Jerry (Malisa), David Baumgard (Kim), Gina Fontaine, Sandy Singletary (Victor) and Jack Baumgard.
