She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William Hodge and Lizzie Hodge; her children, Alice Gore and Charles "Ed" Gore; her daughter-in-law Cheryl Gore; her siblings, Archie Hodge (Janice) and Barbara Swain; her grandchildren, Arista Gore, Michael Howell, Challis Howell, Ricky Howell, Jason Gore, Lionel Gore and Josh Gore; her siblings, Dallas Hodge, Edward Hodge, Paul Hodge, Fannie Hodge and Virginia Hodge; and her son Lionel Gore. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews; and several great-grandchildren.
