He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth Anne Amos Heiney; his son Dan Heiney; and his siblings, Roy, Don, Bob, Bill, George Heiney, Juanita Beaver and Gladys Hutchison.
He is survived by: his son David Heiney (Jane); his daughter-in-law Brenda Heiney-Davis (Don); his grandchildren, Nathan Heiney (Tayler), Caroline Heiney-Clary (Bryce), Cody Heiney (Alanna) and Levi Heiney; his great grandchildren, Kaylen, Kendall Heiney, Haven and Grayson Clary; and his brother-in-law Neil Beaver. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
