With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Cathy Coleen Carlsen of New Matamoras, Ohio, born in Cleveland, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 15, 2024 at the age of 73. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mert Carlsen and Prudy Carlsen; and her cousin Terry Lynn Doubledee. She is survived by: her son Michael Merle Carlsen; her sister Cheryl Opperman (Walter); her nieces, Mishelle Brinker (Charles), Christina Torok (Mike), Dawn Opperman and Amanda Lawson (J. R.); her nephew Matthew Opperman; her cousin Russ Carlsen; and her close friend Greg Leasure (Debbie).
