He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernie Filby and Mary Ann Filby (Unger). He is survived by: his wife Rebecca "Becky" Filby (Thompson); his child Boots; and his brothers, John Filby (Brenda) of New Madison and Allen Filby (Sharon) of New Madison. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
