He was predeceased by: his father Vernie Filby; and his brother Mike Filby. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Filby (Lloyd); his children, John Filby (Ashlee) of Greenville, Ohio, Matt Filby (Ashley) of Greenville, Ohio and Sara De Schepper (Trevor) of Greenville, Ohio; his grandchildren, Knox, Austyn, Alainah, Weston, Layla and Emmersyn; and his brother Allen Filby of New Madison.
