With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Illah M. Burkett (New Madison, Ohio), who passed away on April 26, 2018. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Stephens and Mary Stephens; and her stepparents, Jack Smithton and Stella Stephens. She is survived by: her husband Eugene Burkett (Gene); her brother Leon Stephens; her sisters-in-law, Twila Stephens, John Bailey, Betty Bailey (Burkett), Charles Hileman, Hazel Hileman (Burkett) and Patty Henschen (Burkett); her nephew Danny Hileman; her children, Mike of New Madison and Kathy Shade (Ted) of Leander; and her brothers-in-law, Bill Burkett, Jerry Burkett and Meredith Burkett. She is also survived by two grandchildren, six great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren, two step granddaughters, three step great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
