He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Duane Williams and Helen Pearl Hoover (Lamb); and his adoptive father Kenneth E. Hoover. He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Pat" Hoover (Spiller); his children, Christal Ranes (Mark) of Kalida and Joseph Hoover (Jona) of Greenville; his grandchildren, Catherine Dickerson (Blayne), Cassaundra Shreve (Alex), Coy McConnell (Alicia), JohnRey Abao and Emma Hoover; his great grandchildren, Ember, Silas, Jordyn, Elijah and Jai; and his stepchildren, Henry Spiller (Janet), Michael Spiller (Vanessa), Christopher Spiller and Mary Gibson (Trent). He is also survived by 6 step-grandchildren.
