He is survived by: his wife Janelle Howell (Pipenger); his children, Jason Howell (Melissa Deak) of Wilmington and Misty Howell (Holly Long-Westfall) of Greenville; his grandchildren, Austin Howell of New Madison, Breanon Hall of Fort Jefferson and Gwendolynne Leugers of Greenville; his sister-in-law Mary Howell of New Madison; his half-sisters, Caroll Conway and Susan Gardner; his nieces and nephews, Shawn Howell, Chad Howell (Barbara) and Sherry Holsapple (Jesse); and his pet Max.
