He was predeceased by: his parents, Imre Verhas and Anna Verhas (Petti); and his former wife Alice Verhas (Lubarski). He is survived by: his wife Julia Verhas (Rozgonyi); his children, Frances Hodge (Dana), Patricia Verhas (Jeff) and Rudy Verhas (Lisa); and his siblings, Imre, Louie Verhas and Klara Siklosi. He is also survived by 5 step-children, 19 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
