With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Milton Datko of New London, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 28, 2025 at the age of 90. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Datko and Christine Datko; his wife Ardene Datko; his daughter Mary Lou Shipman; his grandson Daniel; and his siblings, Clement Datko and Nancy Krause.
He is survived by: his children, Doris Howell, Sherry Shimko (Kerry) and Nadene Datko; his son-in-law Miles Shipman; and his grandchildren, Rose, Miles, Roy, Jesse, William, Graham and Claire.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sunset Funeral & Cremation Services (6245 Columbia Rd, North Olmsted, OH 44070). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at the Sunset Memorial Park (6265 Columbia Rd, Olmsted Falls, OH 44070).
