He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Mae (Scyoc) and Fred Hartman Sr. Bill; his stepparents, Marilyn and R. B.; his grandfather Leroy; his brother Fred Hartman Jr.; his nephew Jake Hartman; and his stepbrother Jeff Hartman.
He is survived by: his wife Veronica Hartman (Green); his daughter Brittany Hartman; his stepchildren, Keven Wise (Erin) and Jessica Fey (John); his grandchildren, Paige, Luke, Addison, Landon, Aubree, Skye, Sophia, Tristan, Raven, Diton, Jocelyn and Abbie; his sister Lisa Garcia (Armando); his sister-in-law Jackie Hartman; and his stepsiblings, Jason Hartman and Jennifer Hartman. He is also survived by friends and other relatives.
