He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Hughes and Elsie Hughes; and his brother Paul Hughes. He is survived by: his sister Karen Keffer (Roy) of Wakeman; his nieces, Jennifer Bottomlee (Joseph) and Julie Shaw (Robert); and his great-nephews, Dustin, Matthew Bottomlee and Bryce Shaw.
