She was predeceased by: her husband Carl D. Swiger; her sons, Gary Swiger and Samuel Swiger; and her stepdaughters, Willa Beutler and Virginia Stenzering.
She is survived by: her children, Carl David Swiger, Thomas Swiger, Robert Swiger, William Swiger, Jessie Sheppard and Wendy Swiger. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
