He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Meade and Dorothy Meade (Roberts); his children, Barb Parsons, Alex Meade and Rose Marie Meade; his grandson Thomas Elec McCallister; and his siblings, Maxi Tackett, Walter Meade, Howard "Drake" Meade, Charlene Spurlock, Alex Meade and Gail Parsons.
He is survived by: his children, Roger W. Meade (Angie) of New London, John Meade of Bellevue, Mary McCallister of Clarksfield and Dorothy Sword (Darrell) of New London; his grandchildren, Valerie Houghtland (Rick), Freeman Parsons III (Ravyn), Jared Parsons (Robyn), Todd, Tyler (Lauren), Trent, Timothy McCallister, Brittney Gullett (Adam), Josh Copas (Morgan) and Matt Copas; his son-in-law Freeman Parsons; and his sisters, Velma Miller and Glenna Slone. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
