He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert O'Dell and Betty O'Dell (Miller); and his siblings, William "Bill" O'Dell, Jeff O'Dell and Cheryl Breitigan (Paul).

He is survived by: his wife Sue O'Dell; his children, Bob O'Dell (Tricia) of Milan, Chris O'Dell (Tina) of Findlay and Kim O'Dell (Steve Johnson) of Willard, Ohio; his grandchildren, Logan Harris, Chase, Dylan, Gavin O'Dell, Cade, Kennedy and Ryleigh O'Dell; his great grandchild Parker Wilson; and his brother Scott O'Dell.

Due to COVID19 restrictions, private family services were held.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association or Stein Hospice for those who wish.
